Berry kick-start smoothieThis energising, good-looking smoothie is a delicious and healthy way to kick-start your day. Berries are excellent fruits to eat, packed with anti-oxidants, full of fibre and contain cleansing properties.

The nutrients in this berry combination help promote cardiovascular health, manages blood sugar levels and makes you feel full due to it’s high fibre content plus boosts the immune system.

Ingredients

  • 175g blueberries
  • 120g strawberries
  • 120g raspberries
  • 150g pot of organic Greek yoghurt
  • 100ml mineral water
  • 5g porridge oats
  • 5g chia seeds
  • 1tsp honey (optional)

Method

  1. Put the blueberries, strawberries and raspberries in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Add the Greek yoghurt, mineral water and honey (optional), add some ice and blend again.
  3. Pour into a glass and serve.
